We are looking for a qualified candidate that can come in and hit the ground running. Experience working for a MSP/MSSP or IT Services firm desired. Experience with ConnectWise Manage a plus.
Support Technician Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Support Technician will involve working directly with the employees and management of client companies to solve reactionary technical issues.
- Management of Active Directory user accounts and Group Policy objects
- Support for Microsoft Exchange, Hosted Exchange, and Office 365 systems
- Support and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and other devices across the customer base
- Support and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and Microsoft Windows servers
- Clear documentation of all work done in service tickets for the purposes of communication, documentation, and billing
- Creation and maintenance of client configuration documentation
- Identification of areas of improvement within customer technology environments, and relaying them to the account management and sales teams
Qualifications Needed
It is preferred that candidates for this position have a degree in Information Systems or related field and have two or more years of IT experience, with related skills:
- Strong knowledge of computers, servers, networks, and other related technologies
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to diagnose, research, and solve computer and networking problems
- The ability to multi-task and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
- An understanding of IT principles and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
- The desire to learn and grow in the technology field
*Technical certifications are desired, but not required.
